We are delighted to announce that we have secured a place on the North Eastern Universities Purchasing Consortium Ltd’s (NEUPC) Telecoms and Data Cabling Services framework agreement which commenced on the 1st January 2025 and has an estimated value of £5,000,000 across the contract period. This is the second time we have successfully secured a place on the prestigious NEUPC framework. We have worked with some of the NE5 members for over 20 years and during that time, have established excellent site knowledge of the campuses, systems and procedures.

The NEUPC is a Higher Education purchasing consortium established to deliver and manage a wide range of collaborative framework agreements designed to maximise third-party expenditure within the higher education sector. Utilising a partnering approach, NEUPC provides collaborative procurement expertise, guidance and agreements that are aligned to and actively support members’ needs, values and objectives.

The framework will involve all aspects of telephone and data installations and modifications across a range of University / higher education buildings including lecture theatres, laboratories, café’s, student unions, offices and commercial spaces. The works will vary in size, from smaller scale adds, moves and changes to larger scale refurbishment work.

We were awarded a place on both framework lots, ranking 1st place for each:

• Lot 1 – Excel Cabling Systems
• Lot 2 – Connectix Cabling Systems

We are looking forward to continuing our ongoing working relationship with many of the NE5 members, providing high data and telecommunications solutions.
