We are pleased to announce that we have recently secured a contract to deliver a data cabling and fibre optic network at the new Business School for Durham University.

The University’s Business School plan to relocate from their current location on Mill Lane to the state-of-the-art city centre location on Elvet Riverside in 2024 following an extensive fit out and repurposing of the existing building.

The £70 million establishment will provide exceptional facilities for over 2,000 students, the local community and surrounding businesses. The impressive waterside building will host lecture theatres, conferencing spaces and teaching rooms.

ACEDA have worked with Durham University for over 20 years and have outstanding site knowledge. The Business School fit out will include the installation of over 1,000 new Category 6 outlets over 4 floors. Additionally, Engineers will relocate some existing data outlets and install a resilient fibre network.
