Pedal to Peaks Charity Success
On Wednesday 12th October, our Technical Accounts Director – Michael Lynch, completed a charity cycle of 120km and 7k ft of climbing across the Peak District to raise money for LandAid and the Ukrainian Institute. The event was hosted by one of our key clients – British Land. So far, the fund-raising event has reached an amazing total of £17,000.

Some further information about the chosen charities is detailed below.
Land Aid
Last year there were an estimated 121,000 young people who are homeless. This is a 40% rise in five years. Young people facing homelessness need our support more than ever. LandAid bring the property industry together to support charities delivering life-changing services for young homeless people.
The Ukrainian Institute
The Ukrainian Institute is an independent charity dedicated to strengthening Ukraine’s voice in the UK and beyond. They run a diverse programme of public-facing events, educational courses and digital content. They enable English-language audiences around the world to access nuanced and reliable information about Ukraine.
Overall, the day was a huge success, Michael said, “it was a fantastic event to be involved in which tested both our physically and mental stamina. The team morale throughout the day was terrific and everyone gave it their all. We would like to thank everyone who has donated to such worthy causes and sent messages of support.”
