NQA Approval 3577

Following a successful surveillance audit, completed by National Quality Assurance (NQA), ACEDA are pleased to announce that our ISO 45001, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards have been renewed for another year. The audit involved a review of our systems and procedures, including an onsite visit, documentation assessments and procedural checks.

All of our day-to-day business practices are aligned with the ISO requirements to achieve the highest levels of Health & Safety, Environmental practices and Quality standards. Further information is provided below:

ISO 45001:

ISO 45001 is the world’s international standard for occupational health and safety, issued to protect employees and visitors from work-related accidents and diseases. ISO 45001 certification was developed to mitigate any factors that can cause employees and businesses irreparable harm. Its standards are the result of great effort by a committee of health and safety management experts who looked closely at a number of other approaches to system management — including ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

Especially geared toward senior management, ISO 45001 has the ultimate goal of helping businesses provide a healthy and safe working environment for their employees and everyone else who visits the workplace.

ISO14001:

ISO 14001 is the international standard for environmental management systems (EMS) and the most widely used EMS in the world, with over 360,000 ISO 14001 certificates issued globally.

ISO 14001 is the principal management system standard which specifies the requirements for the formulation and maintenance of an EMS. ISO 14001 is accompanied by ISO 14004 Environmental Management Systems – General Guidelines on principles, systems and support techniques. The standard covers issues such as the establishment, implementation, maintenance and improvement of an EMS.

ISO9001:

ISO 9001 is defined as the internationally recognized standard for Quality Management Systems (QMS). ISO 9001 provides a framework and set of principles that ensure a common-sense approach to the management of your organization to consistently satisfy customers and other stakeholders. In simple terms, ISO 9001 certification provides the basis for effective processes and effective people to deliver an effective product or service time after time.

The key to any successful business is strong quality control. If you want your operation to thrive, your potential consumer base must be confident that the goods or services you offer meet or exceed expected standards.
