ACEDA choose Zoe’s Place as Corporate Charity of the Year

ACEDA choose Zoe’s Place as Corporate Charity of the Year 3428

This year, our employees have voted for a charity to help raise money for in a time when it’s desperately needed. The charity our employees voted for is Zoe’s Place Hospice.

The past year has been difficult for many people both personally and professionally. It has taken a lot for everyone to stay strong and positive in a very uncertain time. As a business, we feel it’s important for everyone to pull together and support others that are also in need.
Zoё’s Place Trust is a registered Charity providing palliative, respite and end of life care to babies and infants aged from birth to five years suffering from life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. This care will be provided in a caring, safe, home from home environment known as Zoё’s Place Baby Hospices. They are based in Normanby, Middlesbrough and require ongoing funding and support to offer their amazing services. Zoe’s Place is a lifeline to the families that use their specialist facilities and care.

An hour of respite care ensures that whilst the children are cared for in a specialist setting, parents can have some ‘normal’ time to sleep, rest, unwind, shop – in fact, to do what we all take for granted every single day. Whilst at Zoe’s Place the children are looked after, not just with specialist nursing care, but with an aromatherapy massage, light and music therapy, and much more. Further information is available on their website: https://www.zoes-place.org.uk/middlesbrough/default.aspx.

Although traditional funding raising methods are restricted at the present time, we will be thinking of alternative ways to raise as much money as possible for our chosen charity in a COVID safe way.

Please look out for future updates on our website and social media channels.
