ACEDA awarded a place on prestigious NEUPC Framework 3300

After a lengthy OJEU tender process, ACEDA have been awarded a place on the North Eastern Universities Purchasing Consortium (NEUPC) framework for Telecoms and Data Cabling. Participating members include Teesside University, Durham University, Newcastle University, Northumbria University and University of Sunderland. The framework is estimated to be worth £3.5 million per annum and will last for a period of 4 years.

ACEDA were successful in both Lot 1 (Excel Cabling) and Lot 2 (Connectix Cabling), ranking 1st place for each. ACEDA have worked for each of the participating Universities for a number of years and will continue to provide a high quality service.

The NEUPC is one of six UK Higher Education Purchasing consortia ‘established to deliver and manage a wide range of collaborative framework agreements designed to maximise third party expenditure within the higher education sector’. They offer a wide range of services to its members and oversee the entire tender process.

Paul Warnes, Commercial Director of ACEDA said, “A great deal of team work and effort went into the tender process, we are delighted to be awarded 1st place on the Telecoms and Data Cabling Framework Agreement.
