North Yorkshire Police

NYPA is a local authority that has accountability for the policing service. It operates in a similar way to local authorities or councils and is independent of the chief constable. The authority is made up of seventeen members, which include councillors and independent members. North Yorkshire Police Authority covers a vast estate which is split into three areas; Eastern, Western and Central Yorkshire. Within these areas are eight districts; Eastern –  Hambleton, Scarborough and Ryedale; Western – Harrogate, Richmondshire and Craven; Central –   York and Selby.

After a formal tender process, ACEDA were awarded a contract with the North Yorkshire Police Authority (NYPA) that involves ACEDA exclusively supplying and installing networking services to the authority across its eight regions. The ACEDA Project Management team have worked with the Authority to develop a bespoke work request system that allows projects to be completed effectively and efficiently. Installation Engineers working on the contract have received CRB screening and are experienced at working in sensitive and challenging environments.
