NORTH WEST BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Job Description:

The continued growth and success in the North West region has created the opportunity for a Business Development Manager to complement the existing sales team.

As the Business Development Manager you will promote our products and services to a wide variety of organisations to generate new business opportunities for the company, primarily focused but not limited to the Northwest region.

The role includes working effectively at all stages of the sales cycle from generating qualified leads to closing and negotiating opportunities in the final stages of a project.

A key part of the role will include working with the Company Directors and Marketing Manager to develop a strategic focus in key areas including specific market sectors and M&E Consultants to generate the most profitable return on investment.

The successful Business Development Manager will have a proven Sales track record in the generation and development of new business and the management of established strategic accounts.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Work with incoming leads and self-generated opportunities you will sell to organisations of all sizes and ranges of vertical sectors within the NW region
  • Accurately forecast projects on a regular basis
  • Be instrumental in client proposals, contracts and any further documentation
  • Provide a contribution to the bid team to maintain competiveness and strong conversion rates, and attend close out meetings with the estimating department as and when required.
  • Work towards individual targets to achieve and contribute to the overall divisional target
  • Produce strategic plans to enable achievement of sales targets
  • Establish and maintain strong internal and external working relationships

Essentials:

  • Experience of sales and an in depth knowledge in at least one of the following products; network cabling, fibre optic cabling, Network Switches, IP CCTV and Access Control and other IP devices.
  • Experience of working within one or more of the following markets, M&E/Construction and business to business.
  • Ability to accurately forecast and manage a sales pipeline
  • Excellent communication skills and a proven competence in a customer facing role / commercial environment
  • Be a self-starter
  • Good IT skills
  • Driving Licence

Desirables:

  • Demonstrated track record of solution selling within a similar industry
  • Experience of using a Customer Relationship Management System (CRM)
  • Sales qualifications
  • Product Training

This is a Field based position covering the North West region and candidates will be located in the North West region and be prepared to travel.

INTERNAL SALES EXECUTIVE

Job Description:

ACEDA are a leading provider of integrated network cabling and IP solutions. ACEDA have office locations in Middlesbrough Manchester, London and Aberdeen and provide turnkey solutions across the UK. ACEDA have a strong client base of clients from a number of market sectors. ACEDA are looking to grow the Commercial Division and increase sales and market share over the short, medium and long term future.

We are looking to recruit an Internal Sales Executive to join our Commercial Division at our Head Office in Stokesley. The successful candidate will be joining a fast paced dynamic team who successfully operate within a B2B environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business relationships within selected market sectors via telephone calls and emails
  • Cold calling new companies to introduce the company and promote the companies products and services
  • Work towards individual targets to achieve contribute to the overall divisional target
  • Build and generate a strong sales pipeline
  • Maintain company conversion rates
  • Negotiating and closing sales
  • Assist the marketing department with market research and market insights
  • Assist the bid team to produce order winning proposals
  • Suggest new ideas and to generate new opportunities for the business
  • Attend client facing meetings where required

Role Essentials:

  • Come from a sales background

NETWORK INSTALLER

Job Description:

To work both independently and as part of a team in the delivery of a wide range of projects within the following disciplines category 5e, 6, 10G structured cabling systems, fibre optic and voice backbone infrastructures, Minor Electrical Works and AV Installations.

Key Responsibilities:

To have experience, a good sound Knowledge and good working practices on the installation and testing of Category 5e, 6, 10G structured cabling systems, fibre optic and voice backbone infrastructures and AV Installations within small, medium and large projects.

  • To have a conscientious, sound work ethic and commitment to all tasks to be undertaken.
  • To have experience and good working practices in the installation of plastic and metal containment systems.
  • To have a good understanding and the ability to digest Detailed scope of works and Working Drawings within the Data and Electrical Industry
  • To provide a quality installation in the most methodical and efficient manner
  • To have a good understanding of Health and Safety i.e. Method & Risk assessments

Candidate Qualifications and requirements:

  • Candidates must live in  the North East region as projects will be predominately in this area
  • Preferably having Health & Safety qualifications/training including up to date CSCS
  • PASMA & IPAF Training is desirable
  • Previous lead hand experience is desirable
  • A full UK driving Licence is essential

Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
