ACEDA set to start work on state of the art Sheffield School 1640

ACEDA have been selected to work with construction giant, BAM to deliver a diverse networking and security solution at a new secondary and Sixth Form College in Southwest Sheffield.

Mercia School is spread across 3 storeys and will provide state of the art educational and cultural facilities for pupils in the local area. It is proposed that the cira £20 million development will open to year 7 pupils in September 2018.

Working alongside BAM Construction, ACEDA developed a multi – disciplined solution consisting of Access Control, Intercom, CCTV, Intruder Detection, TV Distribution and Network Cabling. The solution was designed to reflect the ongoing and future needs and requirements of the ‘world class’ educational facility.

Commercial Director of ACEDA, Paul Warnes said, “This is an exciting opportunity for ACEDA to be involved with as the proposed school will be at the forefront of culture and education excellence. We will work with BAM Construction to deliver a high quality solution safely.”
