ACEDA successfully complete a dual data centre installation for a Global media company
ACEDA have successfully completed a dual data centre solution for global media organisation, AMC Networks International. The infrastructure was installed within state of the art offices in central London and was designed to equip media professionals with a high speed, high performance network.
AMC Networks International (AMCNI) delivers entertaining and acclaimed programming that reaches subscribers in more than 140 countries and territories, including Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East. AMCNI consists of global brands, Sundance Channel and AMC, as well as popular, locally recognised channels in various programming genres. They produce hit TV programmes such as “Breaking Bad”, “Better Call Saul” and “The Walking Dead”.
ACEDA worked meticulously to design a solution that delivers to the client’s exact requirements which encompassed everything from Cisco Nexus core and edge switching technologies to environmental monitoring and UPS systems. The installation was completed in just over two months, but took much longer to complete a low and high level design to ensure the most adaptable, future proof and resilient network was installed.
Managing Director of ACEDA, Nick Harker said, “this has been a flagship project for ACEDA and all involved. We deployed various skillsets from across the business, from Cisco Design Architects to Project Managers who specialise in data centre solutions. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with the outcome and pleased we could engineer solutions to many of our client’s specialist requirements.”
